We are committed to protecting your privacy and treat all personal data that you give us with great care.
What personal data do we process?
We process personal data that you give to us when you book a holiday with us or sign up to our e-newsletter. This data may include your name, address, email address, date of birth, height, weight, nationality, passport number and telephone number. When you visit our website we also automatically receive your IP address which is a unique identifier for your computer or other device you are using to access our site.
What are the grounds for processing your personal data?
Data protection laws require us to tell you what legal basis we use for processing your personal data. These bases are set out in the applicable data protection law. We use the following:

How do we use your data?
Personal data collected and processed by us may be used for the following key purposes:

Emails, telephone & SMS
We will email you when you make an enquiry through our website or via one of our booking partners, such as responsibletravel.com, to provide information in response to your initial enquiry and then as necessary through conclusion of the booking process, payment, and while you are on holiday/vacation with us. We will also send a follow-up email after your departure to provide you with access to photographs of your tour with us.
We very rarely make phone calls and would only telephone or SMS you if we have a specific query or need, eg. because you have requested us to or if we need to inform you of a logistical change to the itinerary while you are on holiday with us.
E-Newsletter
We like to keep in touch with our former guests and will use the follow-up email we send after your holiday to actively request your consent to receive our annual guest e-newsletter. We may also send 1-2 additional e-newsletters per year to suggest new travel ideas based on trips we have developed that we think will be relevant for you. You can easily unsubscribe from these e-newsletters at any time by either clicking on the unsubscribe link or by calling us on 020 3287 0015 or by sending an email to emma@undiscoveredmontenegro.com.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our e-newsletters. Mailchimp has certified to the EU-U.S Privacy Shield Framework, so that information held in the US, for example on computer servers, is treated with the same privacy protection as that in the EU.
Data retention
We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity for which your data was originally obtained – for example, we automatically delete the personal data we are obliged to collect under local tourism law within two months of your departure. The only details we keep on our database are names and email addresses. This information is held on a very secure server and our firewalls are regularly updated and can only be accessed by Undiscovered Montenegro staff or our IT supplier. We will never sell or lease your personal details to anyone else. Cookies and IP addresses
