Lake Skadar Adventure Tours is owned by Undiscovered Montenegro and operated by brother and sister team Vuk and Bojana Sekulić.

“We are originally from the north of Montenegro, but have lived and worked in Podgorica, Montenegro’s capital, for most of our adult lives. Back in 2012, we were approached by the founders of Undiscovered Montenegro, Ben and Emma Heywood. They asked us if we wanted to help them set up a quality hiking, kayaking and wine-tasting day tours operation to compliment their successful activity holiday business, both showing off the amazing natural beauty of this special National Park. We said “Yes!”, and in the years since these day tours have become ever so popular we are now Lake Skadar’s no:1 day tours operator!”

All your guides speak excellent English and are fully qualified in their respective fields. All tour equipment is carefully vetted and we have full liability insurance.

Bojana

Day tours tour leader BojanaBojana wrote the book on sustainable tourism in Montenegro! Whilst working for the CSTI (Centre for Sustainable Tourism) and various NGOs she helped to define Montenegro’s reputation for organic gastronomy as well as having a hand in creating most of Lake Skadar National Park’s hiking trails. It's good to dream a little, to look forward to the time when travel will be back on! So to give you out there with kids (and us!) a little inspiration for summer 2021, we made this short video all about our Family Mountains Adventure Week. It's designed especially for active families with younger children, introducing outdoors activities like rafting, canyoning, canoeing and hiking over a week spent in one of the world's greatest playgrounds – Montenegro's epic mountains, canyons, rivers, forests and waterfalls.

Give your family something to look forward to! Full info and booking at undiscoveredmontenegro.com/tours/family-multi-activity-holiday-montenegro-mountains/

National Geographic Travel has just published its latest Best of the World series - and Montenegro is featured as one of seven unforgettable family journeys for 2021 and beyond! Not that this would surprise any of you who follow our page, or better still, have been on one of our family adventures. 😉😄

They write: "How does Montenegro fit so much in? This Adriatic escape is smaller than Northern Ireland, yet bursting with snow-capped mountains, jewel-box lakes, rushing rivers, charming towns and gregarious locals... Adventurous families will be in their element here. Five national parks protect over 60 peaks where hiking, biking, canyoning and rafting are options."

We duly attach photos of our guests enjoying hiking, biking, canyoning and rafting, but also kayaking because, well, it's us! 🙌

Don't forget that if you book this month for summer 2021, we're offering £100 off per person and full flexibility to postpone or cancel. Send us a message quoting NOVFB!

THROWBACK TO this time 2018 and putting our ‘Hiking with Undiscovered Montenegro' video online! We’d spent the early autumn that year filming at some of the jaw-dropping destinations on our 7 day walking adventure - and those places are still just as beautiful. 🤩

Such great memories making this with our mountain guides Bojana and Vuk, our fab guests and our volunteers back then, Bowen Bagnall & Sarah Wysel!

If you're an experienced hiker dreaming of escape to lesser-known mountains next year, this holiday has you covered. 👉 buff.ly/38LxrBh
