Lake Skadar Adventure Tours is owned by Undiscovered Montenegro and operated by brother and sister team Vuk and Bojana Sekulić.

“We are originally from the north of Montenegro, but have lived and worked in Podgorica, Montenegro’s capital, for most of our adult lives. Back in 2012, we were approached by the founders of Undiscovered Montenegro, Ben and Emma Heywood. They asked us if we wanted to help them set up a quality day tours operation to compliment their successful activity holiday business, both showing off the amazing natural beauty of this special National Park. We said “Yes!”, and in the years since these day tours have become ever more popular!”

All your guides speak excellent English and are fully qualified in their respective fields. All tour equipment is carefully vetted and we have full liability insurance.

Vuk

Vuk is a man of many talents – radio show host, voice-over artist and committed eco-phile, he is one of the very few locally qualified kayak guides in Montenegro. Whether you’re looking to kayak, hike or mountain bike, he’s your man! Vuk speaks excellent English and of course Serbian/Montenegrin.

Bojana

Bojana wrote the book on sustainable tourism in Montenegro! Whilst working for the CSTI (Centre for Sustainable Tourism) and various NGOs she helped to define Montenegro’s reputation for organic gastronomy as well as having a hand in creating most of Lake Skadar National Park’s hiking trails. She speaks Serbian/Montenegrin and English.

Our exploratory trip across the border to Albania the other week uncovered even more ancient legends, castles, fairy-tale Ottoman cities, white sand beaches, delicious eats and even UNESCO-protected Roman remains at the lost city of Butrint. We were so blown away that a 3 day extension to our existing 7 day Albania Food & Culture Adventure is in the works...

Undiscovered Montenegro

People often ask why we don’t offer active breaks in November. The answer lies in the stormy, wet weather Montenegro is experiencing this week (so typical for this time of year!). We do, however, still get moments of extraordinary beauty. Photos from today & yesterday at Villa Miela. ... See MoreSee Less

October always brings new adventures! The photos are from our first ever climb of Mount Rumija, mountain of legends, the great divider between Lake Skadar & the Adriatic Sea. Four years have passed since that amazing day, but this epic hike - a vertical kilometre - is often first up for guests on our all-walking holiday. More details at the link below. 🥾🥾
