Lake Skadar Adventure Tours is owned by Undiscovered Montenegro and operated by brother and sister team Vuk and Bojana Sekulić.

“We are originally from the north of Montenegro, but have lived and worked in Podgorica, Montenegro’s capital, for most of our adult lives. Back in 2012, we were approached by the founders of Undiscovered Montenegro, Ben and Emma Heywood. They asked us if we wanted to help them set up a quality hiking, kayaking and wine-tasting day tours operation to compliment their successful activity holiday business, both showing off the amazing natural beauty of this special National Park. We said “Yes!”, and in the years since these day tours have become ever so popular we are now Lake Skadar’s no:1 day tours operator!”

All your guides speak excellent English and are fully qualified in their respective fields. All tour equipment is carefully vetted and we have full liability insurance.

Happy World Turtle Day! We were lucky to bump into some newly hatched European Pond Turtles on one of our favourite hikes the other day. If they make it to adulthood, these guys can get to be 40cm long (they're classified as rare). The kids were fascinated meeting these little ones, which are more like 40mm shell-to-shell and the same again in the tail!

Book this amazing nature hike as a day tour if you're in Montenegro! 👉 lake-skadar.com/hiking-tours/

Nowhere gives a greater sense of freedom than the mountains! With lockdown over here in Monte, our volunteers headed straight up to the rocky, dream landscape of Durmitor to climb 2,393m high Mt Prutaš. It's one of seven dramatic peaks covered on our all-walking holiday! Epic views, carpets of spring flowers and sightings of wild chamois were lying in wait - and it's all still waiting for you.

Everyone needs something to look forward to, so we've made all our adventures easier to book - no penalties for rescheduling and full payment just two weeks before travel!

We are open! Our 2020 day tours season is starting this week with our favourite paddle of all - a trip by kayak to Lake Skadar's colony of Dalmatian Pelican. We operate this stunning eco-tour in late May & June only, so as not to disturb breeding of these magnificent rare birds. Take a virtual tour with this short film we made using clips from last year or, better still, book the real deal if you're in Montenegro right now!

Message us for more details or click onto www.lake-skadar.com/kayaking-tours - every booking generates a donation to the Lake Skadar Pelicans' Conservation Project.
